Hiring Goals is consolidating into a single, unified version. The new release brings overlapping goals, automatic opening close-out, and an opt-in safeguard that requires an active hiring goal before an opening can go live.

What’s new

• Multiple hiring goals can run on the same opening at the same time

• Openings can automatically move to inactive when their goal is met or its end date arrives

• A new optional setting requires an active hiring goal before an opening can be activated

• Hire-by date is now optional and can be removed after being set

• Goal counts can be reduced after creation; increases are no longer supported

• All hiring goals settings are consolidated into a single panel

Why it matters

Recruiters running multiple targets per opening — across roles, brands, or stages — no longer need to choose one goal at a time. Auto-close removes the manual step of disabling openings once they’re filled, and the optional activation safeguard helps prevent inactive openings from collecting applications without a clear hiring target.

What to expect

• The unified version replaces the previous variants. Settings from the old panels are preserved.

• The ‘require active hiring goal to activate openings’ setting is off by default. Turn it on at the account level when you’re ready.

• Goal increases are no longer supported. To grow a target, close the existing goal and create a new one.
