Assigned Scorecards in Hire
Scorecards become an assigned evaluation step in Hire, with a template library, automatic assignment, reminders and side-by-side comparison.
A scorecard was a form someone had to remember to fill in. There was no assignment, no reminder, no link to interview stages and no way to compare a panel's feedback.
What's new
Scorecard library — build, duplicate and manage scorecard templates in company settings, with scored, weighted or comments-only modes and rating, yes or no, dropdown and free-text questions.
Attached to stages and assigned automatically — add scorecards to Scheduler and Custom stages, and Hire assigns them to the interview host or the opening owner.
Emails and reminders — evaluators are emailed and reminded until they submit, and recruiters can send a reminder to anyone outstanding.
Invite more evaluators — add any Fountain user to score an applicant, including people without access to the opening.
Side-by-side comparison — view every evaluator's answers, notes, totals and recommendations in one place. Evaluators who still owe a scorecard can't see anyone else's.
Score column — the applicants table and the Universal Applicant View show the average submitted score.
Require scorecards before moving on — optionally block manual Advance and Reject on a stage until the required scorecards are in.
Why it matters
Every applicant gets structured, comparable feedback from the right people before a decision, without recruiters chasing evaluators by hand.
What to expect
Submitted scorecards are final. Scoring starts from the scorecard attached to a stage, so templates used outside an interview stage need to be attached to a stage to stay available. Scorecards can't be completed in Hire Go yet.
