New in Source | Automation warning emails

You’ll now receive warning emails before Source automations pause campaigns due to hiring goals or target budget limits.

These early warnings help teams intervene in time—reducing unexpected campaign interruptions and last-minute spend or coverage surprises.

What’s new

• Warning email before campaigns pause for Hiring Goal automations

  • Sent when the hiring goal duration reaches 90% complete

• Warning email before campaigns pause for Target Budget automations

  • Sent when target budget is 80% consumed

• Emails are sent to the opening owner

• Campaign creators are CC’d

Why it matters

For enterprise teams running high-volume hiring, campaigns pausing unexpectedly can create operational gaps (and urgent escalations).

Advance notice makes it easier to:

• Extend a hiring goal before it ends

• Adjust budget before campaigns pause

• Proactively manage spend and pacing

This applies to Source automations configured for:

• Hiring Goal

• Target Budget

Rollout details

• Current status: In QA (not yet live in production)

• Target timing: Week of April 6, 2026

• Enterprise availability: may be enabled in enterprise sandbox first for validation before production

• Once enabled, it applies automatically to existing automations (no additional setup)
