Scheduled Tasks in Cue
Cue Scheduled Tasks lets you set up recurring work once and have Cue run it automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence — with each run saved as a normal Cue conversation you can review and continue.
Previously, every Cue task was one-and-done: to rerun an analysis or report you had to reopen Cue and re-enter the prompt each time, making recurring operational work manual and easy to forget.
What’s new
Schedule recurring Cue work — set prompts to run daily, weekly, or monthly, with the employer profile timezone applied automatically.
Four ways to create a task — build one manually, ask Cue to propose a single task, ask it to propose several at once, or start from a curated template.
Manage everything in one place — view, edit, pause, enable, delete, run now, search, and review every run from the scheduled tasks page.
Results stay conversational — each run lands as a readable Cue thread with its generated files, and you can keep chatting in it.
Deliver outputs where you need them — results are available in-product, and task instructions can request email delivery and specific file formats (XLSX, PPTX, PDF, DOCX, CSV, or HTML).
Built-in failure protection — a task automatically pauses after three consecutive failed runs and can be re-enabled anytime.
Why it matters
Recruiters, hiring managers, HR admins, and schedule managers repeat the same reporting and monitoring work constantly. Scheduling it once turns a proven Cue prompt into a reliable habit — a Monday-morning pipeline report, a daily stale-applicant scan, a next-day shift digest — without anyone remembering to run it.
