New in Referrals | referral pipeline now shows workflow stages

See where every referred applicant is in your workflow — without leaving the Referrals pipeline.

The Referrals pipeline now includes a Stage column that displays each referred applicant's current Hire workflow stage. The value updates as applicants move through stages, so admins can manage referrals without bouncing between the pipeline view and individual opening boards.

What’s new

• A new Stage column on the Referrals pipeline table that shows each applicant’s current Hire workflow stage name.

• The column can be toggled on or off via the existing Columns picker.

• Stage values refresh as applicants advance.

• Applicants without a stage (orphaned or pre-workflow) show a clear placeholder instead of a blank cell.

Why it matters

Referrals admins manage a funnel that runs across two surfaces — the Referrals dashboard and the Hire workflow. Surfacing the workflow stage on the referrals view eliminates the constant context switch and makes it easier to follow up with referrers, prioritize outreach, and report on referral conversion.

What to expect

• The Stage column is available immediately on the Referrals pipeline; turn it on from the Columns picker.

• Existing columns and views are unaffected.

• The column reads stage names directly from the workflow, so renaming a stage in Hire updates the value displayed here.
