Applicant Portal Links in Pool Campaigns
Pool campaigns can now carry a link that takes each recipient back to their own application.
Pool could reach people who already had an application in progress, but it could not point them back to it. Getting someone to the right place meant managing portal URLs by hand or sending everyone to a generic destination and hoping.
What's new
An Applicant Portal field in the dynamic-field picker — Insert it the same way as any other dynamic field, from the picker in the campaign editor.
Personalized to each recipient — For a recipient with an applicant record, it resolves to a link to their own application.
Usable in email and SMS — The same field works in both channels.
A safe result for everyone else — A recipient with no applicant record receives the configured fallback where one is set; where none is set the field renders blank and the campaign still sends.
Why it matters
The people most likely to finish an application are the ones who already started it. Closing the distance between a re-engagement message and the exact place they stopped removes the step where most of them drop out, and it does so without anyone maintaining a list of portal links.
What to expect
The link is resolved for each recipient when the campaign sends, so a mixed audience of people with and without applicant records completes normally either way. Write the sentence around the field so it still reads if the field comes back empty, and send a test to a contact of each kind before activating. No applicant records are created by the field.
Availability
Available to all Pool customers.
