Attribute Sections on the Worker Profile
Custom worker attributes can now be organized into named, collapsible sections, so a long profile becomes something you can scan.
The Attributes tab on a worker profile has been one flat list. For an account with a few dozen attributes that is fine. For one carrying hundreds, sometimes more than a thousand, finding the right field means scrolling past everything that is not it, and there has been no way to keep related information together.
What's new
Manage sections in one dialog — In Settings, under Worker attributes, choose Manage sections to open Attribute sections. Create a section, rename it, delete it, drag to reorder, and set whether each one starts collapsed.
Assign an attribute from the Section column — Every attribute row carries a Section dropdown, so assigning one is a single choice from the list you are already looking at.
Collapsible groups on the profile — The Attributes tab shows your sections, each with a count of what it holds. Anything unassigned collects in a trailing Other group.
Start from a suggested set — Add starter set creates ready-made sections covering personal and contact details, compliance and eligibility, availability and scheduling, experience and skills, and application details. Rename, reorder, or remove them freely.
Nothing changes until you set it up — An account with no sections configured keeps the flat attribute list exactly as it is today.
Deleting a section keeps its attributes — They return to the default group. Neither the attributes nor their values are deleted.
Existing permissions carry over — Section controls follow the worker attribute settings permissions already in place for create, update, and delete, so no role changes are needed.
Why it matters
A profile carrying a thousand attributes is complete and unreadable at the same time. Grouping them the way the work is actually organized, compliance in one place, scheduling in another, driving and vehicle details in a third, turns the Attributes tab from something to search into something to read. And because the grouping is presentation only, a team can reorganize a profile without anyone worrying about the data underneath.
What to expect
Sections change how attributes are presented and nothing else. No attribute data is moved, rewritten, or removed, and an account that configures no sections sees no change at all. Creating a section does not assign anything to it, so until attributes are assigned they stay together in Other. A few things are deliberately not in this release: dragging individual attributes to reorder them, showing or hiding a section by role, and labelling which system an attribute came from.
