Hire openings now support a Minimum Years of Experience field, letting recruiters specify experience requirements directly in the opening setup and carry that value through to job postings.
A new optional field — Minimum Years of Experience — is available on the Opening details page, placed below the Industry field. Recruiters select from a standard set of options and the value carries through to the job posting flow, where it appears in the Review Job step before posting. Openings without a selection default to "Any experience" and existing openings are unaffected.
What's new
Minimum Years of Experience field on Opening Details: an optional dropdown with options — Any experience (default), 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5+ years.
Carries through to job posting: the selected value is visible in the Review Job step of the posting flow, making job details more complete for distribution.
Why it matters
Experience level is a common job requirement that previously had no dedicated field in Hire, forcing workarounds via custom fields or job description text. This field standardizes the input and makes openings more complete and ready for broader distribution.
What to expect
The field is optional — existing openings are unaffected and default to "Any experience".
Availability
Rolling out to an initial group of customers, with full availability to be announced.
