Hires count in Source now matches Hire

The Hires number on a hiring goal in Source now matches the Hires number in Hire, giving you one consistent figure across both products.

Previously, the Hires total on a hiring goal could look different in Source than in Hire for the same opening and dates. It wasn’t a data error — the two products counted hires differently. Source counted only hires from candidates added during the goal’s dates, while Hire counted everyone hired during those dates, including earlier applicants.

What’s new

• One consistent Hires number — the headline Hires count in Source now includes everyone hired during the goal period, regardless of when they first applied — matching Hire, so goal progress (e.g., 493 / 500) lines up across both products.

• Sourcing performance still visible — a separate breakdown shows candidates added during the period, how many were hired, and their conversion rate, so you keep the full picture of the pipeline you built this period.

• Consistent everywhere — the updated count appears in the hiring goal header, the Hires metric card, and the Hires column on your dashboard.

• Everything else unchanged — spend, budget, applicant counts, and conversion continue to reflect activity within the goal’s dates.

Why it matters

A hires number that disagreed between Source and Hire undermined trust in reporting and made goal tracking confusing. Aligning the two means teams can rely on a single number when measuring progress — while still being able to isolate how their recent sourcing is performing. Note that your Source Hires figure may now read higher than before, since it counts everyone hired in the period.
