Coming Soon in Candidate AI Agent | Streamlined knowledge base setup
Building and maintaining a Candidate AI Agent knowledge base now starts with direct editing, with AI assistance available on demand.
The knowledge base setup flow has been redesigned so that direct editing is the primary path. AI writing assistance is still available but no longer required — you can upload files to populate sections at any point during setup or maintenance, not only at the start. Outdated entry points, including the legacy CSV knowledge base option, have been removed.
What's new
Direct editing as the primary path: open any knowledge base section and edit it immediately, without going through an AI-assisted conversation first.
File upload available anytime: upload documents to populate or update knowledge base sections during initial setup and during later maintenance.
Cleaner setup flow: obsolete entry points, including the legacy CSV knowledge base option, have been removed.
Why it matters
The previous setup flow required interacting with an AI writing assistant before you could edit the knowledge base directly, which added steps without adding value for many users. The redesigned flow puts editing first and makes AI assistance something you reach for when needed rather than something you have to pass through.
What to expect
The layout and structure of the knowledge base editor remain the same; the changes are to flow and entry points.
Customers currently using the CSV-based knowledge base path should contact their Customer Success representative before the next knowledge base update.
Availability
