New in Hire | Improved Geocoded Address Visibility & Editing

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Fountain team

GA Date: February 23, 2026

We’ve improved how location addresses are handled in Hire, providing greater transparency into Google-derived address data and enabling manual corrections when needed.

What’s new

Structured address visibility

Users can now view the individual address components returned by Google, including:

  • Street number

  • Route

  • City

  • State or region

  • Postal code

  • Country

This makes it easier to understand how an address was parsed and saved.

Editable geocoded addresses

If Google returns an incorrect or incomplete address, users can now directly edit the structured address fields to correct the mismatch.

Automatic coordinate updates

When an address is edited, the saved address is updated and the associated latitude and longitude are automatically refreshed.

No new permissions

No new permissions are introduced. Existing Location create and edit permissions apply.

Customer impact

This update improves transparency into how addresses are parsed and reduces troubleshooting when Google-derived results are incorrect.

Customers can now correct location mismatches directly within Hire, reducing operational friction and minimizing support involvement.

Who this is for: All Hire customers.
