New in Hire | Shared Applicant Notes Across Applications

Hiring teams can now create applicant-level notes that are visible across multiple applications for the same candidate within a customer account.

What’s new

Share notes across applications

When creating a note, users can select “Share Across Application” to create an applicant-level shared note. These notes are separate from application-specific notes.

Cross-application visibility

Shared notes are visible across all related applications when Fountain identifies duplicate applicants using existing identity resolution logic (name + email + phone).

Account-scoped behavior

Shared visibility applies within the same customer account.

Customer impact

This update improves visibility into important candidate context when individuals apply to multiple openings.

It reduces the risk of inconsistent decision-making and helps prevent situations where a candidate flagged in one application progresses in another without prior context.

Who this is for: Multi-location operators and hiring teams reviewing candidates across multiple openings within the same customer account.
