New in Platform: Segments-Based Triggers & Filters
What’s new
Fountain’s Automation Center now supports segments as triggers and filters in automation workflows. Customers can leverage any existing segment to build more targeted, precise, and dynamic automations.
Why it matters
This update unlocks smarter automation by letting teams act on the specific groups that matter most — whether that’s applicants in certain stages, workers with defined attributes, or any custom segments. The result: less manual effort, greater precision, and stronger outcomes.
How it works
Use any existing segment as a trigger to start workflows
Apply segment-based filters to automation actions
Combine segment filters with other workflow conditions for complex logic
Works with all Worker Experience (WX) segments across the platform
Availability
This feature will be available to all customers using Fountain Automation Center V2 by early October 2025. Reach out to your CSM about any questions you have regarding activation.
