New in Platform | simplified navigation (unified left bar)

Many teams will notice a cleaner navigation this week - no action is required.

We’ve updated the left navigation to make it easier to find the tools you use most often.

This update simplifies the navigation across products and introduces a consistent left bar experience for Fountain One accounts.

What’s new

• A cleaner left bar focused on the most frequently used workflows

• Applicants is now directly accessible from the left navigation

• Less frequently used items like Segments and Worker Portal have moved to Settings

• Notifications have been removed from the left bar

Why it matters

This update reduces clutter and makes it faster to move between hiring and workforce workflows, especially for teams working across multiple products.

What to expect

• This is a navigation-only update. No data, workflows, or permissions are changing

• Some items may appear in new locations, but functionality remains the same

• Hire-only customers will now see a left navigation for the first time

• WX customers will see a simplified version of the existing navigation

Availability

Release type: Coordinated rollout
This update is being rolled out in phases across accounts to ensure a smooth transition.

Fountain One accounts (Hire-only and Hire + WX):

• Rolling out starting April 14, 2026

• Most accounts will receive this update automatically

Accounts not yet on Fountain One:

• Will see limited or no changes as part of this update

Select enterprise accounts:

• Will receive this update on a delayed timeline

• Your Customer Success team will coordinate timing and provide advance notice
