DATE:
AUTHOR: The Fountain team

Availability: Phased rollout
Release type: Major system update
Activation: Coordinated migration required

We are introducing a unified access management system for Fountain One accounts.

This update synchronizes user access between Hire and related workflows in real time, replacing separate product-specific access configuration with a single control panel.

What’s changing

Real-time access synchronization
User access to locations, location groups, and openings will remain continuously aligned across products. Changes made in one area are reflected automatically.

Opening-level access in WX
Opening-level access is now supported natively, enabling more granular control over visibility.

Unified access management interface
Access configuration will move to a single management interface, replacing legacy access configuration screens.

Job and position-level restriction support
Access to a location can be further restricted by job or position.

Automatic ownership access alignment
Location, location group, and opening ownership will automatically grant corresponding direct access.

What this means for your team

  • Access will be managed in one place

  • Legacy access configuration screens will be removed

  • Existing access structures will be migrated during activation

  • Ongoing access changes will synchronize automatically

This update reduces configuration complexity and ensures consistent access across products.

Who this affects

Fountain One accounts using multiple products.
