New in Shift | Bulk actions for faster schedule management

Managing schedules using Shift just got a lot faster. You can now take action on multiple shifts at once, making it easier to update, publish, or clean up schedules without doing everything one by one.

What’s new

Bulk set shifts as claimable
Select multiple shifts or shift groups and mark them as claimable in a single action

Bulk delete shifts
Remove multiple shifts or shift groups at once to quickly clean up schedules

Bulk publish with improved visibility
Publish multiple shifts at once with a clearer review step, including:

• A detailed view of what will be published

• Visibility into SMS notifications being sent

• The ability to filter by worker or job before publishing

Why it matters

Teams managing high-volume or frequently changing schedules can now make updates in seconds instead of minutes. This reduces manual work and helps ensure shifts are published accurately and on time.

Rollout details

This update began rolling out on March 12, 2026 and is being deployed automatically. No action is required to enable these changes.
