Pre-Release Note: Coming Soon WX Platform | Updated Left Navigation Bar

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Fountain team

Coming soon, we’re simplifying navigation across Worker Experience with a cleaner, more focused left navigation bar. This release will go GA later in mid-March, 2026 (see rollout details below).

This update reduces visual clutter and surfaces the items teams use most often.

What’s changing

(We will share visuals of the navigation closer to the GA release)

Cleaner left navigation

The Worker Experience left navigation bar will be streamlined to include only frequently used and cross-product items.

This creates a more focused experience and makes it easier to find what you need quickly.

Rarely used items moved to Settings

Some less frequently accessed items (for example, Segments) will move into Settings.

This keeps advanced or infrequently used configuration tools accessible without crowding primary workflows.

Unused items removed

Navigation items that are no longer actively used (for example, Notifications) will be removed from the left bar.

Who this is for

  • All Fountain One accounts (including Hire-only accounts)

  • All Worker Experience customers

Note: Accounts not yet migrated to Fountain One will follow a separate rollout path.

Rollout plan

This is a Tier 3 update and will roll out in phases.

Estimated rollout window: March 17 – March 25, 2026.

Enterprise customers may see this update in sandbox environments prior to production rollout.

Customer impact

This update helps teams:

  • Reduce navigation clutter

  • Focus on primary workflows

  • Move between products more intuitively

  • Spend less time searching for frequently used tools

There is no setup required. Navigation will automatically update once enabled.

What to expect

If you rely on rarely used navigation items, you may find them relocated to Settings.

We recommend sharing this update with admins and team leads ahead of rollout to minimize disruption.
