Fountain Product Release Notes
March 19, 2026
We’ve released several updates across Shift, Platform Automations, and Hire designed to help teams move faster, reduce manual work, and respond to candidates and hiring needs in real time.
These updates focus on improving high-volume workflows, giving teams more control over bulk actions, and enabling faster, more responsive hiring and shift scheduling experiences.
Below is a summary of what’s new.
Shift
Manage schedules faster with bulk actions
We’ve introduced new bulk actions to help teams manage large or recurring schedules more efficiently.
Schedulers can now:
• Set multiple shifts as claimable at once
• Delete multiple shifts or shift groups in a single action
• Publish multiple shifts with a clearer review of what will be communicated via SMS
These updates reduce repetitive work and make it easier to manage schedules at scale.

Platform Automations
Trigger workflows from Opening events
You can now trigger automations directly when an opening is created or updated in the Fountain plaform.
This makes it easier to:
• Notify teams when new roles are opened
• Sync opening data with external systems
• Take action when hiring goals are met
These triggers allow teams to react to hiring changes in real time without relying on external tools.

Hire
More control when selecting applicants in bulk
Recruiters can now deselect individual applicants after using “Select All,” making bulk actions more precise.
This means teams can:
• Exclude specific applicants from bulk actions
• Maintain selections across pages
• Run cleaner, more accurate bulk workflows
These improvements reduce manual work and help teams manage large pipelines more efficiently.
