We’ve released a set of updates across platform navigation, Shift, Hire, Hire Go, and scheduling. These changes focus on simplifying everyday workflows, reducing manual work, and improving the candidate and worker experience.


How to read this update

  • Continuous update → small improvements that go straight to production

  • New feature → released in phases (enterprise sandbox first, then production)

  • Coordinated rollout → larger changes rolled out in phases and coordinated for some customers

Platform Navigation

Simplified navigation (unified left bar)
Easier to find what you need, faster

  • Release type: Coordinated rollout - being introduced in phases across accounts

  • What’s new: A cleaner left navigation with Applicants now directly accessible and less-used items moved to Settings

  • Customer impact: Easier navigation across Hire and Workforce with no changes to data or workflows

  • Who sees this now: Most Fountain One accounts starting April 14; some enterprise accounts will receive this later with advance notice

Automate worker request approvals
Faster responses without manual review

  • Release type: Continuous update - available immediately

  • What’s new: Automatically approve or reject worker requests (drop shift, time off, claim shift) based on rules

  • Customer impact: Faster responses for workers and less manual work for managers

  • Who sees this now: All customers

  • Action required: Optional - configure rules to enable automation

Option to auto-advance applicants based on interview attendance

Update interview slots via API
Make scheduling updates without disrupting candidates

  • What’s new: Update calendar slots (including capacity) without canceling or affecting scheduled candidates

  • Customer impact: More reliable scheduling updates for teams using integrations or automation

  • Who sees this now: All customers with API access

  • Action required: Optional - adopt the new endpoint if using integrations

Hire Go

Unified login for Hire Go
One login across Fountain products

  • Release type: Coordinated rollout - being enabled account by account

  • What’s new: Hire Go users now log in using the same credentials as the rest of Fountain (no separate login required)

  • Customer impact: Simpler access across products and no more managing multiple logins

  • Who sees this now: Rolling out to Hire Go customers this week; most accounts will be migrated automatically, with select enterprise accounts coordinated separately

Updated application experience (AX 3.0)
