Release Highlights

We've introduced 5 updates this cycle: faster access to applicants from the left sidebar, a new aggregate view of Source campaigns rolling out soon, two fixes that make the Source dashboard's search and budget numbers trustworthy at scale, and updated I-9 Center state W-4 forms for 2026.

Available Now

  • ATS: Applicants, also known as Universal Applicant View, is now available in the left sidebar, giving you a faster way to reach every applicant from anywhere in Fountain.

Coming Soon / Rolling Out

  • Sourcing: A dedicated Campaigns page is coming to Source, letting you see every campaign you've posted across all your openings in one place, filterable by channel, position, location, and date range.

Improvements

  • Sourcing: Openings dashboard search, sort, and filtering are fixed. Search and filters now work on any page (not just page 1), the Opening name column is sortable, rows per page is configurable, and bulk selections across pages no longer get dropped.

  • Sourcing: Campaign budget is clearer. The "Budget Spend" metric is renamed "Spent / Budget" and now shows actual spend against total campaign budget as a single read-only value, and the confusing Target Budget control has been removed from the Edit Targets modal.

  • Compliance: WorkBright's (Fountain' W-4 and I-9 integration partner) state W-4 forms are updated to the latest 2026 versions, with field updates for multiple states.

Together, these updates make it quicker to reach your applicants and easier to see how sourcing campaigns are performing across your account.

ATS | Applicants in the Left Sidebar

Applicants now has its own link at the top of the left sidebar, above Workers Profile, Inbox, and Analytics. It takes you straight to the same Universal Applicant View you're used to, so you can reach every applicant from anywhere in Fountain without going through the Applicants dropdown first.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Sourcing | Campaigns Page

A dedicated Campaigns page is coming to Source, giving you one place to see every campaign posted across all your openings, instead of only viewing sourcing at the individual opening level. Campaigns are sorted by recency, and you'll be able to filter by channel, position, location, or date range to compare applicants, hires, spend, and conversion.

Availability: Coming soon to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to learn more.

Sourcing | Openings Dashboard Search & Filter Fixes

The Openings table on the Source dashboard now holds up when accounts have large numbers of openings. Search and filters work correctly from any page instead of only page 1, the Opening name column is sortable, rows per page is configurable, and selections made across multiple pages are no longer dropped when bulk posting. The browser back button also now returns to the page you came from instead of resetting to page 1.

Availability: Available to all Source customers.

Sourcing | Clearer Campaign Budget Reporting

The "Budget Spend" metric on the Source dashboard and Opening Details page is renamed "Spent / Budget" and now shows actual spend against total campaign budget as a single read-only value. The Target Budget field and "How budget is used" breakdown have been removed from the Edit Targets modal, since they never actually controlled individual campaign spend.

Availability: Available to all Source customers.

Compliance | 2026 State W-4 Form Updates

WorkBright's supported state W-4 forms in I-9 Center are updated to the latest 2026 versions. Iowa and Maryland gain new required fields, Kentucky's outdated military and domicile fields have been removed, and every other listed state form is aligned to its current version. Workers who already started an I-9 or W-4 are unaffected; only new workers will see the updated forms.

Availability: Available to all I-9 Center customers.
