Cue Tip: With Cue connectors and Scheduled Tasks, you can automatically gather updates from the tools your team already uses.

Copy/paste this prompt into Cue:

Every Friday at 2 PM, summarize this week’s updates about [project] from Notion, Asana, and Microsoft 365. Include decisions, risks, next steps, and source links, then email me the briefing.

Release Highlights

We've introduced 13 updates across ATS, Cue, Onboarding, Pool and I-9 Center. Scheduling and messaging get the coverage recruiters have been working around: availability that follows opening ownership, recurring series that last as long as the hiring pattern does, hiring goals whose final day counts, and a Message Center view that shows who you contacted rather than only who replied. Cue reaches the tools teams already plan work in, runs recurring work on a schedule, and is more careful about what it claims to have done.

Available Now

  • ATS:

    • Choose whether a hiring goal's Hire by date means the beginning of that day or the end of it.

    • Set the maximum number of occurrences in a recurring availability series per account.

    • Target availability at every opening a chosen person owns, with ownership re-checked as openings change.

    • See the candidates you have messaged under Assigned to me, whether or not they have replied.

  • Cue: Previously announced — now available to all Cue customers.

    • Connect Microsoft 365, Notion and Asana to bring mail, calendars, Teams messages, files, project pages and tasks into a Cue conversation.

    • Schedule recurring work and read each run as a normal conversation.

  • Pool: Filter the talent table inline, with results updating as you build the query and saving an audience left optional. Previously announced — now available to all Pool customers.

Coming Soon / Rolling Out

  • ATS:

    • One approvals service covering both offers and openings, with multi level rules and a single decision queue.

    • Hire's recruiter interface moves to Fountain's shared design system, expected to go live next week.

  • Pool:

    • Pool opens on a dashboard with a reach and engagement funnel and a live view of active campaigns.

    • Publish several named lead capture forms, each with its own questions and hidden attribution.

  • I-9 Center: I-9 profiles carrying an Unable to verify document verification result appear in the Blocked stage.

Improvements

  • Cue / Onboarding: Cue answers Onboard requests through focused capabilities, and confirms an action before reporting it as done.

Together these updates close the gaps where scheduling and outreach quietly failed, and move Cue from something you ask to something you can rely on.

ATS | Inclusive End Dates for Hiring Goals

A hiring goal's Hire by date was stored at the beginning of the day, so a goal expired the moment its final day began. An account setting now decides whether Hire by is read as the beginning of the day, which stays the default, or the end of it. On end of day a goal stays active through the end of its Hire by date in the opening's location timezone, back to back goals hand over at midnight with no uncovered day, and the goal's end date carries through to sourcing purchase end dates. Active and scheduled goals are updated when an account switches, so every goal in the account behaves the same way.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

ATS | Longer Recurring Availability Series

Every account was held to the same maximum of 30 occurrences when setting up recurring availability, which is about six weeks of weekday cover. The maximum is now an account level setting rather than one fixed limit for everyone. Accounts stay at 30 until the limit is raised for them, and it can be raised as high as 300 occurrences. A series too large to create is refused up front with a message naming the number of sessions it would have produced, instead of being shortened without warning. Existing series are unaffected.

ATS | Availability by Opening Owner

A new Opening Owner condition in the Scheduler stage condition builder targets availability at every opening the selected people own. The selectable values are based on the host's openings access, so a condition cannot quietly resolve to nothing. Two conditions decide where a slot appears: the opening is owned by a selected owner, and the host can access that opening and its stage. Ownership is checked continuously, so a new opening under a selected owner picks up availability with no re-setup, and interviews already booked are never cancelled automatically.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

ATS | Message Center Outbound Threads

Message Center listed conversations only where the applicant had written back, so a recruiter who texted forty candidates and heard from six saw six threads. Under Assigned to me, the filter now follows the applicants assigned to you rather than the threads where you are the recorded user, and a conversation appears as soon as a message has been sent. All Messages and WhatsApp are unchanged. Expect the thread count in that view to rise, sharply for outreach heavy teams.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Cue | Connectors for Microsoft 365, Notion and Asana

One connection each brings Microsoft 365, Notion and Asana into Cue. Microsoft 365 covers Outlook mail and calendar, Teams messages, and SharePoint and OneDrive files; Notion and Asana cover pages, databases, projects and tasks. Your organization approves the connection, then each person signs in with their own account, so Cue sees only what that person can already see, and nothing is copied into Fountain in advance. Where write actions are enabled, Cue can send Outlook email, create or update calendar events and send Teams messages, and it can create new work in Notion and Asana. Microsoft 365 setup is not self serve: a Microsoft administrator completes the tenant level prerequisites first.

Previously announced — now available to all Cue customers.

Cue | Scheduled Tasks

Set recurring work up once and Cue runs it daily, weekly or monthly in the employer profile timezone. Create a task manually, ask Cue to propose one or several, or start from a template, then view, edit, pause, delete, run now and review every past run in one place. Each run lands as a readable Cue thread with the files it generated, and you can carry on chatting in it. Task instructions can request delivery by email and a particular file format, and a task pauses automatically after three consecutive failed runs.

Previously announced — now available to all Cue customers.

Availability: Available to all Cue customers.

Onboarding | Cue for Onboard

Onboard requests are routed to focused capabilities covering flow authoring, flow and task lookup, workforce actions, worker notifications, pending tasks, and setup planning, each scoped to the tools its job needs. Cue also holds back its confirmation: it does not report that a write, send or state change succeeded until the result is supported by tool output or a check afterwards, and its wording distinguishes between submitted, queued, verified, completed, partially completed and unverified. Where Cue cannot confirm an outcome it says so rather than reporting success.

Availability: Available to all Onboard customers.

Pool | Inline Talent Filtering

Audience filters opened in a side drawer that covered much of the screen, so the table being filtered was hidden while the query was built. Filter controls now sit inline with the talent table and results update as conditions are added, removed or adjusted. Filtering is also separated from creating an audience: explore freely, then save the filter set as a named audience only if it is worth keeping. Saved audiences are unchanged and are navigable as their own pages.

Previously announced — now available to all Pool customers.

Availability: Available to all Pool customers.

ATS | Offer and Opening Approvals

One approvals area covers both offers and openings. Company Settings, then Approvals, carries tabs for Approver rules, Approvals and Auto-approval, with multi level rules that run in order and skip a level whose condition does not apply. Approvers are chosen by name or by a user attribute such as the hiring manager of the opening, with a backup approver and an escalation delay. A shared condition builder scopes by position, opening, location or location group plus custom attributes, and offers add data keys and applicant pay. My Approvals shows the items where it is your turn, and the offer decision dialog carries the actual letter. With no approval rule configured, behavior is exactly what it is today.

ATS | Fountain's Unified Design System in Hire

Hire's recruiter interface moves to Fountain's shared design system. Buttons, links, focus rings and selected rows move from Hire's blue to Fountain's indigo, the palette the workforce products already use. Contrast improves with it: the primary interactive color goes from 5.10:1 to 6.29:1 against white, and borders on tinted backgrounds from 1.43:1 to 5.62:1. This is presentation only, so layouts, navigation, tables and workflows are unchanged, and applicant facing pages keep the brand color configured for them. You will see the change in Hire within the next week.

Availability: Coming soon to all customers — expected to be available next week.

Release Note

Pool | Pool Dashboard

Pool opens on a dashboard rather than leaving you to reconstruct the state of things from the Campaigns and Talent pages. A Reach and Engagement Funnel shows recruiter reach and candidate movement across funnel stages with trend indicators and step conversion rates, using counts rather than estimates, and an Active Campaigns view carries every active campaign with its engagement rate and daily send activity. Every metric explains its own definition on hover. The dashboard is additive: nothing is removed and no existing workflow changes.

Pool | Lead Capture Form Variants

An account had one lead capture configuration, so a university fair, a conference and a career site all shared the same form. Accounts can now create, duplicate, rename, enable, disable and archive several named forms from Settings, then Pool, then New Prospect Profile. Each form can ask supported questions from the account's custom attribute catalog and stamp source, event, campaign or use case values onto every submission without showing them to the person filling it in. The existing public URL resolves to the Default form permanently, so printed QR codes stay valid. File uploads are not part of this release.

I-9 Center | Unable to Verify I-9 Profiles in Blocked

An Unable to verify document verification result could sit alongside an Employment authorized status, so a profile looked resolved even though its documents still warranted review. Those profiles are now grouped in the Blocked stage alongside other I-9 exceptions, so the review is deliberate rather than a matter of opening profiles one at a time. Unable to verify is a document verification result and not an E-Verify status, and it does not mean a document is invalid or that a worker is ineligible.
