Together these updates cut the clicks between you and your work, and keep applicant and worker data accurate from the moment it is entered.
ATS | Applicant Self-Withdrawal
A Withdraw my application link in the applicant portal footer lets applicants end an application themselves. The application moves to Rejected with the reason "Withdrawn by applicant", and the applicant's SMS and marketing consent stay as they are.
Availability: Available to all Hire customers.
ATS | Offer and Opening Approvals
One approvals area covers both offers and openings, with multi-level rules that skip a level whose condition doesn't apply, approvers chosen by name or by a user attribute such as the hiring manager, and a shared condition builder. The Approvals tab lists what's waiting on you under My approvals, and the review panel shows the actual offer letter. With no approval rule configured, nothing changes.
Previously announced — now available to all Hire customers.
Availability: Available to all Hire customers.
ATS | Document Template Customization
Document Signing templates take variables in square brackets and conditional blocks, and open in a new template editor with Variables, Blocks and Signatures tabs. When a document is sent, a form built from the template collects each value, and the recruiter previews the resolved document, edits it or replaces it with a custom document, then sends it for signature. Templates are sent by a recruiter rather than when an applicant reaches the stage. Existing PDF templates keep working, and offers built from templates can go through approval rules.
Previously announced — now available to all Hire customers.
Availability: Available to all Hire customers.
ATS | SMS and Call Consent Updates
Fountain application forms show a disclosure instead of transactional checkboxes, and marketing consent stays a separate, optional opt-in that a company setting can turn off. Consent is also captured for applicants created by CSV, the API, Indeed Apply and ZipRecruiter, and one-way SMS messages carry an opt-out link instead of STOP instructions.
Previously announced — now available to all Hire customers.
Availability: Available to all Hire customers.
Platform | Universal Search
Press Cmd+K or Ctrl+K on any page to find applicants by name, openings by title or workers by name, or to jump straight to a page. Users with access to more than one Fountain product can move between them from the same search bar, and results only include what each user can already access.
Availability: Available to all customers.
Platform | Format Rules for Worker Attributes
Admins can add a format rule, such as email, phone, IBAN, postal code or a pattern, to a custom worker attribute. Values people type on the Worker Profile or in Onboard data collection tasks are checked before they are saved, while integrations are never blocked and their invalid values are saved and marked invalid.
Availability: Available to all customers.
ATS | Hiring Goal Start Times
Hiring goal cards show a start time and time zone alongside the end, in the opening's location time zone. A goal set to start immediately begins when it is created rather than being backdated to midnight, so the card matches the hires the goal counts.
Availability: Coming soon to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to learn more.
ATS | Assigned Scorecards
Build scorecard templates in a new library and attach them to Scheduler and Custom stages. Hire assigns each scorecard to the interview host or opening owner, sends reminders until it is submitted, shows every evaluator side by side and can require scorecards before an applicant is advanced or rejected.
Availability: Coming soon to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to learn more.
ATS | Rename, Delete and Lock Opening Attributes
Admins can rename opening attributes, edit or delete dropdown values, delete attributes and lock sensitive attributes so only attribute managers can set them. A usage warning shows what a deletion affects first, and values can also be deleted through the API.
Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.
ATS | Logic Jumps in Data Validation
Admins can add logic jumps to Data Validation forms, so a recruiter's answer skips to a later question or ends the form. Validations with jumps step through one question at a time, and answers save to the same data keys.
Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.
Platform | Effective-Dated Worker Attributes
Add an effective date when editing a custom attribute on a worker's Attributes tab, and the new value applies automatically at midnight in the company's time zone on that date. Until then, segments, automations and exports keep using the current value, and a pending change can be cancelled.
Availability: Coming soon to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to learn more.
Onboarding | Mark as Completed Permissions
Mark as completed now follows the permission to complete assigned tasks in the worker menu, the flow panel and the flow details drawer, so users who can complete tasks always see it and users who can't no longer see an action that fails.
Availability: Available to all Onboard customers.
