Release Highlights

We've introduced 7 updates across Sam, Shift, ATS and Onboarding. Sam's voice check-ins reach workers for every customer, Shift gives you control over worker texts, time tracking and consecutive hours, openings can be updated in bulk from a CSV, and Onboard admins can get one digest for the work waiting on them.

Available Now

  • Sam: Sam Satisfaction Manager — voice check-ins with workers at key milestones, in English, Spanish and French (previously announced)

  • Shift:

    • Worker Notifications — choose which texts each location sends, rewrite them in your own words, and set when reminders and alerts go out

    • Worker Portal time tracking — let workers clock in through another system and show them where to go

    • Consecutive Scheduled Hours — cap back-to-back scheduled hours with an optional rest time

  • ATS:

    • Bulk Update Openings via CSV — update many existing openings from one uploaded file

    • Logic Jumps in Data Validation — skip questions or end the form based on a recruiter's answers (previously announced)

Coming Soon / Rolling Out

  • Onboarding: Admin notification digests — one grouped email for the Onboard work waiting on each admin

Together these updates help you hear from workers sooner, speak to them in your own words, and spend less time on repetitive admin work.

Sam | Satisfaction Manager

Sam checks in with workers by voice before their first day, after their first day and first week, at 30, 60 and 90 days, and before they leave. Users who can manage Talent Agents activate a survey in one click, adjust its audience, questions and invitation, and test it first. Workers join from an email or SMS in their browser, in English, Spanish or French, and every completed call produces scores, follow-ups and a retention risk flag, with recurring themes in Insights.

Previously announced — now available to all customers.

Availability: Available to all customers.

Release Note

Shift | Worker Notifications

Choose which Shift Reminders, Schedule Change Notices, Clock In/Out Alerts and Worker Requests texts each location or location group sends, rewrite them with merge tags such as the worker's name, shift start time and clock-in link, and set how far ahead shift reminders go out and how long after a shift starts or ends a missed clock-in or clock-out alert is sent. Every text starts on with the current copy, so nothing changes until an admin edits a setting.

Availability: Available to all Shift customers.

Release Note

Shift | Worker Portal Time Tracking

Turn off clock-in and clock-out in the Worker Portal when workers record time in another system, and show them an optional message pointing to the right tool. Time tracking stays on by default, and clock events then come into Shift from your other system.

Availability: Available to all Shift customers.

Release Note

Shift | Consecutive Scheduled Hours

A new rule condition sets the maximum consecutive hours a worker can be scheduled, with an optional rest time. Managers can't assign, and workers can't claim, a shift that goes past the limit, and a 30-minute gap between shifts resets the count.

Availability: Available to all Shift customers.

Release Note

ATS | Bulk Update Openings via CSV

Users with the Bulk edit permission request a CSV of their openings, edit it, and upload it to update fields such as title, status, deadline, pay, job type and opening attributes across many openings. Each row is checked on its own, and a results email lists the openings updated and any rows that need attention. If an opening approval rule applies, a change to a live opening is sent for approval before it takes effect.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Release Note

ATS | Logic Jumps in Data Validation

Admins can add logic jumps to Data Validation forms, so a recruiter's answer skips to a later question or ends the form. Validations with jumps step through one question at a time, answers save to the same data keys, and validations without jumps keep the single-screen form.

Previously announced — now available to all Hire customers.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Release Note

Onboarding | Admin Notification Digests

Onboard admins choose hourly or daily digests, or none, for ten activity types, from reviews and countersignatures to overdue workers and upcoming start dates, and receive one grouped email per send window with worker context and links into the Task Manager.

Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.
