This month’s updates improve access control, onboarding compliance, scheduling accuracy, sourcing budget automation, and system visibility across products.

Unified Brand Synchronization (Platform)

Tier 3 – Change Management

What it is:
Brand configuration is now unified across products, keeping brand data automatically aligned between Hire and WX.

Operational impact:

  • Brand changes in Hire or WX automatically sync

  • No more maintaining brand configuration in two places

  • Activation coordinated with CS


Clearer Roles & Permissions (Platform)

Tier 2 – New Feature

Improved clarity in role configuration.

What it is:
The Roles & Permissions page has been rewritten for clarity, with improved labeling and in-product explanations.

Operational impact:

  • Clearer permission labels

  • In-product tooltips explain access behavior

  • No change to permission logic


Compliance Task (Onboard)

What it is:
Compliance can now be added directly as a task within Onboard flows.

Operational impact:

  • Add Compliance as a task in Onboard

  • Centralize document collection during onboarding

  • Requires both Onboard + Compliance products


Automatic Break Deductions (Shift)

Managers can configure rule-based break deductions that automatically apply to qualifying timesheets.

Operational impact:

  • Configure rules once

  • Breaks automatically apply when conditions are met

  • Reduce manual payroll edits

  • Review rule logic if workers log their own breaks


Break Countdown Improvements (Shift)

Operational impact:

  • Countdown now reflects scheduled duration

  • No configuration required


Improved Address Visibility & Editing (Hire)

Structured Google-derived address components are now visible and editable.

Operational impact:

  • View parsed address components

  • Correct mismatches directly

  • Coordinates update automatically


Shared Applicant Notes (Hire)

Applicant-level notes can now be shared across multiple applications within the same account.

Operational impact:

  • Use “Share Across Application” when creating notes

  • Improves cross-opening visibility

  • Reduces inconsistent hiring decisions


Budget Automation & Campaign Improvements (Source & Pool)

New automation controls help manage campaign budgets, hiring goals, and candidate outreach more efficiently.

Operational impact:

  • Integrated campaigns auto-pause at 100% budget

  • Early warning at 80%

  • Clear Actual vs. Committed spend

  • Lock indicator for non-pausable channels

  • Quick-copy audience/messages in Pool

  • Merge keys for personalized outreach

Review non-integrated channels manually when prompted.

Access management is being unified across products for Fountain One accounts.
