Cue Tip: With Universal Dashboard now available to everyone, your task list is one place — but knowing which openings to prioritize is another question.

Copy/paste this prompt into Cue:

Across all active openings, identify which are most at risk based on funnel health (applicant volume, conversion drop-offs, time-in-stage). For each at-risk opening, share (1) the top 1–2 reasons with key numbers and (2) the top 3 actions to take this week. Sort by highest risk first.

Release Highlights

We’ve introduced 20 updates across Hire Go, ATS, Onboarding, Platform, and Sam — with Universal Dashboard now available to all customers, Hire Go gaining direct applicant creation and data key management, and three applicant consent and privacy compliance updates.

Just want a snapshot? Click to watch a video covering several highlights from the release:

Available Now

  • ATS:

    • (Hire Go) Live video interviews in Hire Go — hiring managers join and manage live video interview stages directly from Hire Go.

    • (Hire Go) Add Applicants Directly in Hire Go — create new applicant records from the app for walk-ins, hiring events, and assisted applications, with duplicate checking.

    • (Hire Go) View, Sort, and Filter Hire Go Applicants by Data Keys — custom columns, filtering, and sorting by applicant data keys in the Hire Go Applicants table.

    • (Hire) Universal Dashboard is now available to all customers — unified task-driven recruiter landing page with Customer Attribute Filters and Cue task access from anywhere.

    • (Hire) Search Applicants by Data Keys — find applicants using up to 3 custom data keys (employee IDs, tax IDs, certification numbers) from the universal search bar.

    • (Hire) Show Applicant Portal Link — direct link to the Applicant Portal now visible on the Applicant Profile for faster access to portal-based status and next steps.

    • (Hire) Print Selected Stages — print only the stages you choose from an applicant record instead of printing the entire record.

    • (Hire) Configurable Default Limit Access for Openings — customers can now set their own default for the Limit Access checkbox on new Openings.

  • Onboarding:

    • Onboard Task Manager — a dedicated workspace where admins triage and complete pending worker tasks without leaving the Onboard Dashboard.

    • Internal Tasks — extend Onboard flows with admin-assigned tasks (badge handoff, payroll setup, data review) so every step — worker and internal — is tracked and required for completion.

  • Platform:

    • Data Pipeline Transformation — reshape incoming data using JavaScript and Dataset-based lookups before it lands in Fountain. No external middleware required.

    • Merge Key Translation Control — mark Merge Key rows as translatable so dynamic merge fields are included in the multilingual applicant experience.

    • Applicant consent and privacy compliance updates — three changes address A2P 10DLC, GDPR, and CPRA requirements: granular SMS/calls consent (now available to all customers), iFrame cookie consent for embedded forms, and a CPRA notice on US application forms.

Coming Soon / Rolling Out

  • ATS:

    • (Hire Go) Applicants board view and bulk actions — hiring managers can view the full applicant pipeline by stage and reject or advance multiple applicants at once.

    • (Hire Go) Multiple scheduler stages — admins will be able to configure multi-round interview processes entirely within Hire Go, with per-stage host assignment and interview instructions.

  • Onboarding:

    • Flow Versions — update and republish live onboarding flows without duplicating them; changes apply only to workers who haven’t started.

  • Platform:

    • Data Pipeline Enrichment — automatically join incoming data to existing Fountain records to resolve entity references without extra API calls.

    • Unified Access User Groups — assign users to groups that grant access to locations, location groups, and openings.

  • Sam:

    • Sam Satisfaction Manager — proactive voice check-ins at Day 1, 7, 30, 60, 90, and exit that surface retention risk and at-risk worker signals in Cue.

    • Sam browser voice calls — workers join Sam conversations via a browser link instead of a phone call, with a phone fallback for poor connectivity.

Together, these updates make Universal Dashboard the default recruiter home for all customers, give Hire Go teams complete control over applicant data in the field, and ensure compliance with current A2P 10DLC, GDPR, and CPRA requirements.

Hire Go | Live video interviews

Hiring managers can now join live video interviews directly from Hire Go, using the same video platform candidates experience. Admins configure a live video interview stage in the Hire workflow editor, candidates self-schedule, and hiring managers join from the applicant profile or a link in their email notification.

Previously announced — now available to all Hire Go customers.

Availability: Available to all Hire Go customers.

Release Note

Hire Go | Add Applicants Directly

Hire Go users can now create new applicant records directly in the app — ideal for walk-ins, hiring events, and assisted applications. Required: name and email. Optional: documents, notes, and recruiter-accepted consent. The system checks for duplicates before creating, and places the applicant in the first stage of the workflow automatically. If that first stage is set to not show in Hire Go, the applicant won’t appear in Hire Go until they move to a stage that is visible there.

Availability: Available to all Hire Go customers.

Release Note

Hire Go | View, Sort, and Filter Applicants by Data Keys

Hire Go’s Applicants table now supports selecting custom columns (including applicant data keys), filtering by any data key, and sorting by data key columns. Hiring managers can scan, rank, and filter applicants by account-specific attributes without opening individual profiles. The view persists as you navigate away and back, and the URL can be copied and shared for direct access to the same filtered view.

Availability: Available to all Hire Go customers.

Release Note

ATS | Universal Dashboard

Universal Dashboard — Fountain’s unified, task-driven landing page for recruiters across Hire and Onboard — is now available to all customers. New: Customer Attribute Filters let Enterprise recruiters scope the Dashboard to openings they actually own. Cue also now responds to “what are my tasks today?” from anywhere in Hire, returning a live task list with a deep-link to act on it. Universal Dashboard replaces the Home tab as the default landing page.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

ATS | Search Applicants by Data Keys

The universal applicant search bar now supports finding applicants by up to three custom data keys — such as employee IDs, government/tax IDs, or certification numbers — in addition to name, email, and phone.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

ATS | Show Applicant Portal Link

The Applicant Profile now surfaces a direct link to the Applicant Portal, giving recruiters faster access to portal-based status and next steps without navigating separately.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

ATS | Print Selected Stages

A new 'Print Selected Stages' option in the Applicant More Actions menu lets recruiters select exactly which stages to include in a printout — producing a cleaner, more focused output for reviews, compliance records, or interviewer handoffs.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

ATS | Configurable Default Limit Access for Openings

Customers can now set their own default for the 'Limit Access' checkbox on new Openings in Company Settings. The default is still ON (matching current behavior), so nothing changes unless you adjust it. New Openings pre-populate from this default; creators can still override per Opening. No impact on existing Openings.

Availability: Available to all Hire customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

Onboard | Task Manager

The Onboard Task Manager is a dedicated two-column workspace where admins work through pending compliance and internal tasks without leaving the Onboard Dashboard. Supports I-9, W-4, Background Check, Partner tasks, TIN Checks, Universal Webhooks, search, filters, "My tasks" scoping, and Cue Agent integration.

Availability: Available to all Onboard customers.

Release Note

Onboard | Internal Tasks

Onboard Flows now support two types of admin-assigned tasks alongside worker-facing steps: External Action tasks for non-Fountain work (badge handoff, payroll setup) and Review Data tasks that require an admin to verify worker-submitted attributes before the Flow advances. Onboarding is not marked complete until both worker and admin tasks are finished.

Availability: Available to all Onboard customers.

Release Note

Platform | Data Pipeline Transformation

Data Pipeline now includes a Transformation step where integration teams add JavaScript scripts to reshape incoming data — reformat dates, split or concatenate fields, change casing — and use Dataset-based lookups to translate values before they land in Fountain. No external middleware needed.

Availability: Available to all Fountain customers.

Release Note

Platform | Merge Key Translation Control

Admins can now mark Merge Key table rows as translatable. Once flagged, the Translation engine includes those fields in the applicant experience — closing the multilingual gap where merge-field content was previously excluded and fell back to the source language.

Availability: Available to all Fountain customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

Platform | Applicant Consent and Privacy Compliance

Three compliance-focused updates address A2P 10DLC, GDPR, and CPRA requirements.

Granular SMS and Calls Consent (now available to all customers)

The applicant-facing consent section is redesigned with four optional, unbundled checkboxes — transactional SMS, transactional calls, marketing SMS, and marketing calls — replacing two mandatory bundled checkboxes. Consent is now captured across every applicant entry point: application form, Add/Edit Applicant screens, CSV import, and Create/Update APIs.

iFrame Consent Handling

When Fountain's application form is embedded via iframe, tracking scripts now wait for the host site's cookie consent signal before firing — respecting approved categories only. If the host site hasn't implemented the integration, Fountain falls back to its own consent banner automatically. Enabling this requires engineering work on the embedding team's side.

CPRA Notice in Application Form for US Openings

US application forms now include a clearly labeled 'California Privacy Notice at Collection' link in the footer, anchored directly to the CPRA section of Fountain’s Privacy Policy. Displayed only on US openings.

Availability: Available to all Fountain customers.

Customers on select plans may have this feature enabled on a phased basis. Contact your Customer Success team for details.

Release Note

Hire Go | Applicants board view and bulk actions

Hire Go now includes a workflow-stage board view and bulk applicant actions. Managers can see how applicants are distributed across stages, identify who needs manual review, and reject or advance multiple applicants without clicking through them one by one.

Availability: Coming soon — availability to be announced.

Release Note

Hire Go | Multiple scheduler stages

Admins can now designate multiple stages in a Hire workflow as Hire Go-hosted scheduler stages, each with independent host assignment and interview instructions. Hiring managers can run complete multi-round interview processes entirely within Hire Go — no need to route second interviews through Hire.

Availability: Coming soon — availability to be announced.

Release Note

Onboard | Flow Versions

Flow Versions lets admins update and republish live onboarding flows without duplicating them. New versions apply only to workers who haven’t started — workers in progress or completed are unaffected. Version history and worker-level version visibility included.

Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.

Release Note

Platform | Data Pipeline Enrichment

Data Pipeline Enrichment joins incoming data to existing Fountain records automatically — import openings by location and job name instead of internal IDs, look up locations by location group, and auto-assign a default brand to new locations only. Completes the pre-import picture alongside Transformation.

Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.

Release Note

Platform | Unified Access User Groups

User Groups let admins assign users to groups that grant access to locations, location groups, and openings — with multi-group membership, the Platform and Hire two-way sync, and group access combining with direct access rather than overriding it.

Availability: Coming soon to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to learn more.

Release Note

Sam | Satisfaction Manager

Sam Satisfaction Manager delivers proactive voice check-ins at Day 1, Day 7, Day 30, Day 60, Day 90, and exit — triggered via SMS and email, with short structured and open-ended conversational voice surveys. At-risk worker identification and action recommendations surface in Cue dashboards.

Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.

Release Note

Sam | Browser voice calls

Workers join Sam conversations by clicking a browser link in email or SMS — no phone required. If connectivity is poor or microphone access is denied, they can request a PSTN phone call as a fallback. Reduces telephony costs, supports closed captions, and works globally without phone-number dependency.

Availability: Now available to an initial group of customers — contact your Customer Success representative to get access.
